About the University

VIT Bhopal Cniversity was established in201 7 with a global perspective which is dedicated to make the leaders of future generations. The university is led by Dr. C. Viswanathan, Founder and Chancellor, Mr. Sankar Viswanathan, Vice President, Ms. Kadhambari S. Viswanathan, Assistant Vice President. It is a lush green campus of 200 acres situated at the heart of India, between the two cleanest cities, Indore and Bhopal. Within a short span of time VIT Bhopal University has become one of the best chosen universities by the students for its future ready courses such as B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, cyber security and digital forensics, bioengineering etc. VIT global outlook will empower its aspirants to attain excellence through learning. The comprehensive teaching methodology designed by the University i.e. Collaborative and Active Learning Through Technology(CALTech) pedagogy adopted by all 100% doctoralfaculties.It redefines the approach to learning, educating and building knowledge-based societies in the country. About Bhopal

Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh and well known worldwide as The City of Lakes. It is well connected to various parts of country by Road, Rail and Air. The institute is located at a distance of around 68 km from Bhopal and 125 km from Indore.

National Science Day

National Science Day is a momentous occasion celebrated across the country to honor the remarkable contributions of science and its transformative impact on society. Observed on February 28th each year, this day marks the anniversary of the discovery of the Raman Effect by the renowned Indian physicist, Sir C.V. Raman, in 1928. His groundbreaking work in the field of light scattering earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics, propelling India onto the global stage of scientific achievement. National Science Day not only commemorates this historic milestone but also serves to inspire future generations to explore, innovate, and contribute to the advancement of science for the betterment of humanity. It encourages students, researchers, and the general public to engage with science, sparking curiosity and innovation.
To reminisce the contribution of the great Indian physicist, Sir C.V. Raman, VIT Bhopal University is celebrating National Science Day on 28th Feb. 2025 on the theme “Fostering public trust in science”. This event is supported by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal.
