National Science Day is celebrated to spread the message about the importance of science in the daily life of the people and how it is contributing to the society at large. This creates an opportunity to display the activities, efforts and achievements in the field of science for human welfare. Participation of society in such celebrations develops scientific temperament in the public and also the sense of responsibility and belongingness towards nation. Issues being faced by the society and their possible technical solutions can be discussed on such platforms and the implementation of new technologies for the development in the field of science can also be done.
