AI in Education: A Way Forward for Educators
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now transforming the education sector to focus on personalized learning, automatic identification of knowledge gaps, and providing targeted feedback and support. It opens a broad spectrum of possibilities where educators are receiving benefits such as personalized learning, smart content creation, task automation, closure of skill gaps, identifying classroom issues, customized feedback, 24×7 support, and AI-enabled examinations.
The way forward for educators to use AI in education is as follows.
- Use AI Tools such as Google Class Room, Duolingo for conventional classroom proceedings.
- Use AI Tools for Quizzes and Examinations such as OpExams, PrepAI, GetFeedback, Kahoot!, Google Forms, etc.
- Record assessment scores in digital formats, analyze, correlate, collate, and interpret them. Use MATLAB – Classification Learner App, SCIKIT Learn Package in Python, and PyTorch for AI-based analysis of the student assessment records.
- Create every content on Interactive Media such as CAMTASIA, GMEET, YOUTUBE, MS TEAM, etc., and make it available on the Web on demand.
- Use Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality for the Demonstration of Concepts.
- Design and develop customized compilers such as NPTEL, HACKERRANK, etc. for improving coding skills virtually with the help of customized test cases.
- Design and develop a virtual lab using AR/VR.
- AI Chat Bots for Frequently Asked Questions, Steps to Remember, Formulas, and Definitions of the concepts target remembering skills.
- Design a visualizer for showcasing the workflow of the concepts and theories.
- Record every experience as a knowledge map for AI-Powered Education Technologies.
The AI in Education global market is projected to reach 3683.5 billion USD by 2023 at a CAGR of 47% based on the forecast from 2018 to 2023.
