On 1st March 2019, Dr. N. Karuppaiah, Additional Director and Site Head of National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRiP), Indore delivered a guest lecture on the topic of Vehicle Dynamics. Students of first and second year of B. Tech Mechanical Engineering attended this lecture. After this guest lecture an orientation program of the team GARVIT of VIT Bhopal University was done.
Mechanical Engineering: Industry Experts and Collaborations
On 6th and 7th April 2018, two day National Workshop on RC Aircraft Design has been conducted in School of Mechanical Engineering. This workshop gives an opportunity to understand the theory behind the functioning of aircraft. An interactive lecture session and design session helps our students in designing their own aircraft from scratch.
On 12th September 2019, Dr. Ravindra Bharilya, Sr. Scientist, CSIR-AMPRI Bhopal delivered a guest lecture on CNC Turning and Welding Operation. In his lecture he briefed about the basics of machining processes and welding operations. He also discussed on turning operation on CNC machines.
On 23rd February 2019, third year B. Tech Mechanical Engineering students visited Andritz Hydro Private Limited located at Mandideep Bhopal. Students got an opportunity to see assembly of big size transformers and generators used for the hydroelectric power plants.
