The first session of the ‘Expert Talk’ series, organized by the Business School VIT Bhopal University, witnessed an energetic and insightful talk by Shri K.K Nair, Registrar In-charge of VIT Bhopal University. The students of the Business School attended the lecture by Shri K.K Nair where he discussed the ‘Prospectus of BHEL’. The talk revolved around the different dimensions and product markets in which BHEL operates. He enlightened the attendees with insight into the research & development activities of BHEL along with the activities conducted at the corporate level of R&D division at Hyderabad, which leads BHEL’s research efforts in numerous areas as well as the importance to BHEL’s product range.
Business School: Industry Experts and Collaborations
The ‘Expert Talk’ series continued with the talk of Mr. Vineet Saxena, a successful entrepreneur in the field of gem stones. He is a first-generation businessman and has an experience of more than two decades in the field of gemstones and jewelry. He shared his experience of the hardships he faced growing up. He discussed about the possible business opportunities and raised awareness among the students on launching a startup. It really motivated the students to strive for success no matter what their hardships or what the financial or social conditions are.
A guest lecture was organized on the theme “Personality Development” on 13th December 2019. The lecture was taken by eminent trainer Mr. Siddhant Singh. All the business school students attended the session. The trainer imparted the lecture on the role of training in developing the personality and skills of the business students. The guest lecture was organized by Dr. Brahmadev Panda of business school.
A corporate talk was organized on insurance management on 16th December 2019 in the business school. The session was taken by Mr. Chain Singh, Territory Manager (MP and CG) of Max Bupa Insurance Company. The session broadly covered the various risks covered and returns gained from the insurance policies of MAX Bupa Insurance. The corporate talk was organized by Dr. Brahmadev Panda of business school.
